Economics and enthusiasm : John appreciates the need for reasonably priced quality legal representation. With an emphasis on client contact and a respect for the importance of a good attorney-client relationship, the O'Neal Law Office stands ready to help you with your legal matter. A good lawyer does not always tell the client what he or she wants to hear. Instead, a good lawyer investigates the facts, researches the law, and provides the client with the information needed to make a well-informed decision as to how to proceed. Legal matters can be the source of great
personal and economic stress which makes a good attorney invaluable. When you need someone to evaluate your legal matter or to fight for your rights, contact the O'Neal Law Office where you will receive personal attention and professional results.
Energy and education : John donates his time, energy and resources to professional organizations such as the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, North Carolina Bar Association and Guilford County Association of Black Lawyers. He has served on the Academy's Board of Governors and is Secretary/Treasurer for the Academy's Consumer Areas of Practice Section. In June 2007, he received an Ebby Award for distinguished and dedicated long-term service. John was inducted into the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers 2007 Order of Service. He has also served as a member of the NC Bar Association's Minorities in the Profession Committee.
John periodically prepares manuscripts and papers designed to educate and assist North Carolina lawyers, paralegals, and legal assistants in the areas of personal injury, ethics, and disbursement of client funds. He has also edited the annual "Medical and Personal Injury Liens" publication produced by Lawyers Mutual Liability Insurance Company of North Carolina.
